Tips for Writers 6 |
|
Show us characters in action. Don't 'tell' us their emotions or motive. Example: Telling - Sam thought the movie was boring and fell alseep. Showing - Sam yawned. Some action movie. His eyes slid closed as Alice munched her buttered popcorn. His chin dipped toward his chest, ans Sam issued a snore. |
